A Tribute to Tradition: Pickled Green Tomatoes in Oil

This Special edition jar is a homage to my Nonna and Nonno, whose love and legacy live on in every batch. After migrating in the 1960s, they brought with them a passion for preserving the harvest—one that continues today, even as Nonna’s hands have slowed.

At the end of tomato season, when green tomatoes linger on the vine, Nonno would gather them while Nonna transformed them using the timeless art of Italian preservation.

Pickled in rich, fragrant oil, these tomatoes are perfect for antipasto, in a continental roll, or alongside your favourite meal—a true taste of tradition passed down through generations.

A nod to family, food, and the simple joys that bring us together.

And yes—Nonna still makes the best lasagne
