OUR STORY /

RICKLES is a small business run by Ricky & Rachel who are passionate about using local and seasonal produce to create pickles, condiments and sauces that can be enjoyed around the table by family and friends. Ricky has been a chef for fifteen years and uses his Italian background to inspire him in the kitchen.

PRODUCTS /

We use seasonal ingredients, this is when produce is at its best, full flavour, crunchy and delicious. This also means that the seasons come to an end, and we create small limited batches of stock. We try to keep up with demand of the favourites but we can’t control Mother Nature.

So make sure to check out our online store regularly to see if we have released any tasty new products.

SMOKEY RED

SMOKEY RED is the latest release of hot sauce from this ‘23/’24 summer. We have been making a version of this sauce for over 5 years now. Each year there are slight differences depending on what produce we receive and how Ricky chooses to showcase it.

This sauce is savoury and complex, made with ripe West Australian tomatoes. A medium heat level from roasted cayenne chillies and fermented habaneros. Infused with subtle smoke from pecan wood.

Smokey Red is a versatile hot sauce, we like to enjoy it on meals from breakfast right through to dinner. Try it with bacon & eggs, on avocado toast, with a toasted sandwich, burgers, steak, grilled chicken or even in your bloody mary.

This year we have started attending markets and small festivals. It has been so nice to meet new and returning customers. We will be regularly attending the Bunbury Markets and Fremantle Farmers Markets..
